Good! - I have had a few usb sticks but i must be honest, i really like this one. I too was unsure of the rubber...but! The day after i received it i stupidly left in my pocket and put it through the washing machine. Of course i was expecting the worst but EVERYTHING was in tact and working perrfectly! And it has remained so for the last year and a half. I intend to buy more.
It good but.... - Firsly it is a very good product, my last one survived the washing machine tramua, and came out working fine. However, I did say last one which is to say like all Flash drives if you accidently bash it whilst still in the computer, the usb port will come off, and it can t be fixed. The other annoying thing is that is quite fun to bend- rubbery but other than that, they are fun, with pretty colours and doesn t look icky and shiney. The only other thing, is the chain thing isn t the greatest thing in the world, I had mine on my keys and it must of come off at least a million times. So it s a good thing its shock proof too! And despite the snapping issue it never broke down or did the whole I will corrupt your files ha ha ha. in miniture compterised voice. :D
A waste of money!!! Unsuitable for intended purpose - buy solid not rubber! - Appearances and descriptions can be deceptive... and this is most certainly the case where this pen drive is concerned.A rubber casing is simply most unsuited to the purposes of protecting valuable data stored on a pen drive.I purchased this very item a few months back and due to the flexibility of the outer rubber casing it offers no protection whatsoever to the Integral internal components. My integral pen drive is now an integral part of my trash bin!DO NOT be swayed by the pretty colours. BUY a solid cased pen drive for reliability!
look great, and extremely strong - I ve got a few of these and they are very easy to use and extremely hard wearing. I ve been using them for almost 2 years now and they are still going strong, including the one that is attached to my car keys it s survived all the usual everyday knocks as well as getting rained on, being dropped, and stood on. All other USB drives that I have used have broken after a few months, including one that had an opening in the plastic case and got salt inside of it because it was in my bag with one of those little sachets you get in fast food restaurants. The little thing to store the top on is a great idea too, however I would recommend getting rid of the little chain thing the USB drive comes on and putting it on a proper key-ring, as I lost one (with all of my uni assignments on it)when the chain broke / came loose.
Never lose your pen drive top again! - I ve had my pink USB splash drive for about 6 months now. And I still have the top!! I love the dinky tag you attach the top to when using your pen drive, and the rubbery exterior means it s unlikely to break like cheap plastic ones do. Best pen drive I own, want a purple one now :)
